Photonis PVS14 White Phosphor Echo spec NEW HIGH GAIN MODELS with 60,000-80,000 US  gain, FOM running 1800-2200 FOM

912.379.9441 or 912.375.1480

This model features a WHITE PHOSPHOR “Onyx” P-45 New HIGH GAIN  tube. Photonis features a white phosphor tube that has a very slight bluish tint to it that makes it easier on the eyes than other white phosphor units- hence the “Onyx” term above.

This WP ECHO SPEC HIGH GAIN unit from JRH Night vision features a higher grade tube than the comm spec model. This means a BRIGHTER, CLEANER tube in this model versus the comm spec model (what most others sell).

Typical specifications P-45 WHITE PHOSPHOR tube, MIN FOM 1800, MIN RES: 62, New HIGH GAIN tubes with 60,000 to 80,000 US gain. Standard Carson- now called “Noctis”- housing and glass.

Note- the 75-150 size range is Pepper speck size. Among the tube manufacturers, Photonis is the most honest when it comes to tube cosmetics, none of the other tube manufacturers chart pepper speck because it is so small you typically don’t see it.

Photonis  Echo Technology offers ultra-fast Auto-Gating, the smallest Halo, and the spectral range varying from ultraviolet to near infrared. Manual gain control allows you to control how much or how little light enters the tube and is an important feature to have in a PVS14.

Use as hand-held, head mount, helmet mount or weapons mounted.
Manual Variable gain control. Has an IR illuminator but it’s not necessary for use of the night vision device.
Light-weight and compact. 40 hours of use on 1 AA battery
Camera and video adaptable
All standard Military parts (Carson/Noctis housing) means good LONG TERM logistics 20-30 years in the future versus a knockoff unit that uses a lot of proprietary parts. Uses 1 AA battery.

All our manufactured PVS-14s use a battery housing that will cut off power to the PVS-14 when the unit is flipped up in a helmet mount with the factory J arm.

All that being said- we are seeing some EXCELLENT SPECIFICATIONS ON THESE UNITS AND THE UNITS ARE SHIPPING WITH SOME HIGH RESOLUTION AND SN NUMBERS!! This is the BEST VALUE in a White Phosphor PVS14!- JRH

Regarding LOW LIGHT use of the Photonis ECHO spec units- we made this video to show you how they do in the actual woods. So many companies put out pictures or videos of their units operating in the city or suburbia where there is tons of ambient light- thereby making their units look better.  At JRH, we live in the woods and we use our night vision in the deep, dark woods, not in an artificially bright suburban environment. Want to know how well your NV device will REALLY work?? Take it deep into the woods! And we did so we can show you-

Excellent Bang For The Buck

12/16/2024

This is an outstanding value for someone new to night vision. Robert was great to work with, answered all of my questions, and produced a pvs14 with much better specs than the guarantee. Even if you aren’t new to night vision like I am, this still an amazing bang for the buck. Great performance for the price for anyone!!

First NVG purchase

7/23/2023

Got my first nvg from. Jrh.

The process was extreamly easy. Every step you need to take is outlined for you perfectly. Jrh is fast and the products are amazing. My specs compared to friends who purchased elsewhere were far superior. The Photonis is an excellent tube to get started in the the dark world.

Can’t beat the bang for the buck

7/22/2023

Great unit at a great price from a great company. My unit came in at 1908 FOM. I’d definitely recommend the Photonis echo spec tube tube as a great entry level device into the world of night vision. I bought mine a little over a year and a half ago and have no complaints except I wish I just bought binos to begin with. These definitely will not disappoint!!!

My first step into Night Vision

7/20/2023

I’ve wanted Night Vision since I was a kid. I finally got to a place where I could afford it and boy was there a steep learning curve. I tend to thoroughly research big purchases but even with all the research I was still not completely comfortable with making a purchase.

That’s where JRH comes in. They are very active on AR15.com and have a great reputation. I had narrowed my purchase down to the XLS tube or a Photonis Echo. I was extremely nervous about the Photonis since it was called a Gen 2+ tube. So I called JRH and believe it or not I got a human on the phone. They were busy setting up a range for an upcoming class but they still took 20 minutes to explain all the differences in the units. It was incredible customer service.

With the differences explained I purchased the PVS-14 Photonis Echo. I have had it for about a year and I use it at least once a week. In that last year I’ve gotten to see through some other night vision devices ranging from an ancient PVS-7 to filmless PVS-31’s and everything in between. With the exception of the filmless tubes, the Photonis has outperformed everything I have seen and the filmless tubes were so marginally better that my eye could barely pick out any difference.

I could not recommend a better tube for starting out in the night vision world. JRH was amazing and the purchase experience was flawless.
