Every so often we receive a night vision tube that while it is within specification for that particular grade of tubes, has a lower FOM level than what we are used to selling or has more spots than we are used to selling. We then set that unit aside and once or twice a year or so we have an “Ugly Sweater” sale  involving a massive discount on those units.

While these units are all “within specification” for the particular tube grade, WE (JRH) like to discount those units. It is your opportunity to get a quality Brand new PVS14 3^rd Gen White Phosphor for a giveaway price!

What you will receive:

A Brand New PVS14 with an Elbit Systems of America White Phosphor tube that is a minimum grade of SLH    These are all new 3^rd Generation White Phosphor Autogated units. These are not the bottom of the barrel “xls” grade of tubes!! Full warranty on units. You will also receive the standard accessories with the unit listed below. Ugly sweater not included.

These units are being discounted for one of the following reasons:

1. A FOM level that- while within specification for the tube grade- is lower than what we normally like to ship to customers.
2. Has a few more spots- but is within the spot spec specifications for that grade– but has a few more spots than we normally like to ship to customers. A quick look at the spot spec chart below will show no .003 size spots are allowed in Zone 1.
3. Both 1 and 2.

PVS14 3rd Generation Night vision device with WHITE PHOSPHOR AUTOGATED Elbit systems thin filmed SLH GRADE tube (see above about 12/15/23 batch with VH and 20UM L3)  , standard military Carson housing and glass for optimal quality. All standard accessories. Manual gain control. The SLH grade of tubes is Elbit Systems (formerly ITT) mid grade tube and offers the best value in White Phosphor tubes. Don’t let the low price confuse you, these are NOT the lowest grade “xls” tubes, these are units with the mid grade SLH tubes!!!

Many people think the White Phosphor (WP) tubes offer better visibility and resolution in use over normal green NV tubes.

All our manufactured PVS-14s use a battery housing that will cut off power to the PVS-14 when the unit is flipped up in a helmet mount with the factory J arm.

Highly recommend the purchase of an AX PRO14 arm to utilize with your PVS14 and a quality dovetail helmet mount like the Norotos Lo Sto mount (see the Night Vision Accessories category)
