PVS14 with GREEN phosphor Echo spec tube

SPECIAL RUN!!! Due to overwhelming demand for lower cost PVS14s, we have done a special run of PVS14s featuring GREEN PHOSPHOR Photonis Echo spec tubes. We were able to secure a VERY SMALL quantity of tubes for this special run- act accordingly.  For those of you looking for a LOW COST PVS14 but not wanting to get the chinese NNT tubes, the ECHO spec tubes offer much better performance without compromise!

This model features a GREEN PHOSPHOR “Onyx” P-43 ECHO spec tube.

Typical specifications P-43 GREEN PHOSPHOR tube, MIN FOM 1800, MIN RES: 62, SPOT SPEC: 1/0 – 2/1 – 3/2/1

REMEMBER- these numbers listed are minimums, and your unit may have higher specifications. We have been seeing a much higher average on these numbers over the last year and half.

Photonis  Echo Technology offers ultra-fast Auto-Gating, the smallest Halo, and the spectral range varying from ultraviolet to near infrared. Manual gain control allows you to control how much or how little light enters the tube and is an important feature to have in a PVS14.   Standard “Carson” PVS14 housing and lenses used.

The industry standard for more than 40 years, green phosphor is the perfect choice for operators that complete missions in the jungle or deep dark areas of the world. The enhanced contrast and depth required for operating in these densely packed environments are ideally suited to the green phosphor coating. The higher gains and stronger contrasts of the green phosphor enable the clarity of image required for those operating without the advantage of ambient light sources to enhance the image.

Regarding LOW LIGHT use of the Photonis ECHO spec units- we made this video to show you how they do in the actual woods. So many companies put out pictures or videos of their units operating in the city or suburbia where there is tons of ambient light- thereby making their units look better.  At JRH, we live in the woods and we use our night vision in the deep, dark woods, not in an artificially bright suburban environment. Want to know how well your NV device will REALLY work?? Take it deep into the woods! And we did so we can show you-

Due to this being a limited run, we will be using our “GP3” green phosphor data plates and tags on these units.

Purchased this item after doing a lot of researching on different websites. Wasn’t real sure about what specs were good or bad but found that jrh had the best price. The owner called me after a few minutes of placing the order and went over the item to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Received the item fairly quickly and started using it that night. Found it to be what I wanted and other than getting used to where the on/off knob it located in the dark everything else is easily figured out. There’s enough videos out there to show you. As soon as the bank account recovers will be ordering from jrh again.
